The Phoenix philosophy
Burgess Hill Phoenix WFC is a football club run by women, for women, but we are more than just a club. We are a diverse sisterhood, empowering ourselves and others through the beautiful game. Our club is supportive and inclusive, a welcoming space for women of all footballing abilities to play, learn and grow. Qualified coaches provide structured training sessions that we know from experience are guaranteed to boost fitness, football skills and knowledge, and mental health.
As an over-30s female football club, we are reaching out to women with busy lives who need to carve out some desperately needed time for themselves.
Our teams
Burgess Hill Phoenix WFC offer two different setups to cater to all levels. The Blue team plays in a competitive 11-a-side league as well as fun festivals and tournaments.
The White team plays in fun festivals, tournaments, 11-a-side friendlies and have for the first time been entered in an 11-a-side development league (2024/25).
There is no obligation to play in games, you can simply come to train with us and have fun!

Summer tournament trophy success!
Our first summer tournament at The Oval in Eastbourne saw Burgess Hill Phoenix triumph as Plate final winners. From believing we were out and almost leaving to winning in the final! A great day in a brilliantly organised and super fun 6-a-side tournament.
The Blues do it again - Flexi League Champions 24/25
Another incredible season for our title defending Blue Team. Becoming the Women's Flex Ultra League Champions for the second season in a row.

Fixture 6 of the Division league was a tough but competitive battle against our friends in Eastbourne.
Burgess Hill Phoenix Blue were able to keep their spectacular unbeaten run going. 6 from 6 so far!
