Our story

Burgess Hill Phoenix WFC is a football club run by women, for women, but we are more than just a club. We are a diverse sisterhood, empowering ourselves and others through the beautiful game. Our club is supportive and inclusive, a welcoming space for women of all footballing abilities to play, learn and grow. Qualified coaches provide structured training sessions that we know from experience are guaranteed to boost fitness, football skills and knowledge, and mental health.

Players are encouraged to choose a level of commitment that works for them, whether it be twice a week every week, or ‘when life allows’. As an over-30s female football club, we are reaching out to women with busy lives who need to carve out some desperately needed time for themselves, becoming more confident and connected.

We also take an active role in the local community, planning charity and social events and working with local businesses and organisations.
